Michael joined Cornerstone in 2022 to oversee the congregation at Strathfield. He grew up in a Christian family who migrated to Sydney from Egypt in his early years of primary school.
Michael worked in injury management and work health and safety for 10 years before completing his theological studies at Christ College. He served as an associate pastor at a Presbyterian church in western Sydney before coming to Cornerstone.
Michael loves that Cornerstone is a unified church which seeks to see people transformed by the gospel of the Lord Jesus, growing in their love for Jesus and one another. He feels so blessed to be part of the warm, caring and multicultural community at Cornerstone Strathfield.
Michael is married to Dina and they have three children, Ella, Madeleine and Jude. He enjoys music, spending time with family and friends, sunny days at the beach and playing soccer with friends.
